Physical Therapy for
Sports Injuries
Physical therapy can play an important role in your physical recovery after a sports injury. Our physical therapists will work with you to help your body recover to its fullest potential. We will help you find ways to stay as active as possible during recovery, which can also support your mental wellness. We will encourage you to set goals and celebrate small wins along the way. Our physical therapy treatment for sports injuries includes balance, strength, and mobility exercises. We will help you understand your injury and the recovery process, so you can focus on healing and staying positive.
Many athletes come out of physical therapy feeling stronger and more focused than before. Our physical therapists will look for weaknesses and muscle imbalances that may have affected your past performance and provide strategies to prevent future injuries. We can recommend activities to build strength while you recover that may help to improve performance when you return to your primary sport. Pre & Post Operative Care
Did you know that physical therapy before and after any type of operation often speeds up the healing and recovery process? Preparing for surgery with strength building exercises and practicing proper movement helps to prepare your body for the healing process ahead. Patients who are regularly involved in physical therapy generally have greater resilience and a better overall physical experience when it comes to surgery.
Elevate Physical Therapy specializes in pre and post operative care. Our physical therapists are passionate about providing you with optimal care before and after surgery. After an operation, our goal is to strengthen the affected and surrounding areas of the body to avoid further complications and prevent re-injury. Physical therapy treatment after surgery helps to stimulate the body’s healing response and keep the body more flexible and functional during the recovery stage and beyond. He’s passionate about making a difference in other’s lives, from working with patients in physical therapy every day, to coaching high school wrestling in his off hours.
